The Village of Mineola is
located in the flat, central part of Long Island
in Nassau County. Its name comes from an
Indian word and means "Pleasant
Place." Mineola has a long history
and dates back to 1609. Currently, the

also available. A new, 230 unit
condominium has recently been approved.
Most of the homes in the area are moderately
priced two story homes with a mixture of
